Clinton Twp., MI - The Soroptimists of Greater Macomb and Macomb County 4-H have partnered to host a career support workshop called Dream It, Be It! Girls ages 14-17 who participate in this program will learn about career opportunities, setting and achieving goals, overcoming obstacles to success and moving forward after setbacks.
The program provides girls with access to professional role models, career education and the resources to live their dreams.
The workshop will be held on Saturday, November 5 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in MSU Extension Assembly Rooms A and B at the VerKuilen Building, 21885 Dunham Road, Clinton Township, MI 48036.
The free event includes lunch and a chance to extend participation through a monthly virtual mentoring program from December 2022 to May 2023. Mentoring sessions will be tailored to participants’ interests, experiences and goals, and will expand on workshop topics, allow participants to work on the skills provided and provide additional resources to ensure they have access to the education and training needed to be successful.
