Dearborn Heights CDL Truck Training School Suspended

Dearborn Hts., MI - The Michigan Department of State has issued a summary suspension to Michigan CDL School Training LLC, located at 2184 N Beech Daly Road in Dearborn Heights, after the facility was found in violation of the Driver Education Provider and Instructor Act on several counts during an inspection on April 26.

In addition to the Dearborn Heights office location, the facility also operates a training range at 13509 Huron Street in Taylor. Michigan CDL School Training LLC is owned by Arkan Alanoon.

The inspection at the Dearborn Heights office found that the provider was missing training documents, had pre-filled training documents, incorrectly signed contracts, and failed to verify student training eligibility. During an inspection the same day at the training range, a department analyst discovered that the instructors were not certified and that five tractor-trailer combination vehicles used for training did not have proper registration, proof of Department of Transportation inspection, or insurance documentation.

The owner of the facility may request an administrative hearing to contest the suspension and may regain the license by showing the business has complied with the law. Additional administrative actions are also possible.

The Department of State’s Office of Investigative Services inspects and investigates driver education and testing programs. Consumers who have a complaint against Michigan CDL School Training LLC are encouraged to call the Office of Investigative Services automotive complaint line at 517-335-1410.
