Macomb/St. Clair MI Works To Provide Free And In-Person Workshops

Clinton Twp., MI - Starting on April 5, Macomb/St. Clair Michigan Works! (M/SC MW!) will begin to provide new in-person, no-cost employability workshops.

The workshops are aimed at developing job seekers skills, giving them the resources and assets they need in order to be confidently prepared for the next employment opportunity that comes their way.

“M/SC MW! is excited to launch new, no-cost workshops to help local job seekers find, land, and keep a new career,” said Justin Al-Igoe, executive director for M/SC MW!. “Our expert staff can help job seekers identify professional goals, develop in-demand skills employers are searching for and provide resources and other assets to prepare for career opportunities within the workshops."

There will be three different employability workshops aimed at polishing and enhancing skills to help job seekers land their next career. Workshop topics include resume and cover letter design, maintaining a professional online presence and developing real-life interview skills. Additionally, workshops will conveniently be offered at all five M/SC MW! locations for job seekers to attend.
