Clinton Twp., MI - Macomb Community Action, in partnership with Michigan State University Extension, will be one of many community organizations throughout the state hosting a Show Me the Money Day – Michigan.
Show Me the Money Day is an event that features free and low-cost financial assistance materials, free tax preparation services, community resources, financial workshops and family fun. Local events are held annually across Michigan during tax season and promote opportunities to increase income, as well as how to save and build assets.

In 2019, Show Me the Money Day touched 2,567 Michigan residents at 33 events across the state. Event vendors talked one-on-one with participants, while community organizations and financial institutions provided more than 146 financial workshops. Overall, 72 percent of surveyed participants reported feeling more hopeful about their financial future after attending Show Me the Money Day.
