City Of Detroit To Resume Parking Enforcement Monday June 29

Detroit, MI - The City of Detroit will resume enforcement activities for the departments of Municipal Parking, Buildings, Safety Engineering and Environmental (BSEED) and Public Works, starting Monday, June 29.

Since mid-March, enforcement activity has been paused, due to the coronavirus outbreak. Residents are expected to adhere to city guidelines to prevent being ticketed.

Municipal Parking Department

Parking enforcement throughout the city will resume. Residents and those visiting the city will need to make sure they are paying for parking through the Park Detroit App or at the kiosks and meters available on the street. Payment for parking tickets can be made via the following methods:

Buildings, Safety Engineering and Environmental Department 

BSEED will resume enforcement on property maintenance and environmental compliance. Please note, BSEED offices remain closed to the public. However, the department is pleased to offer citizens, businesses, and visitors access to services online, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week through Accela / eLAPS. DPW is reminding residents to follow the guidelines regarding yard waste, bulk collection and illegal dumping. Residents must adhere to the following guidelines to prevent being ticketed:
