Lansing, MI - On Wednesday, August 3, 2022, in accordance with 4 USC 7(m), Governor Gretchen Whitmer ordered U.S. and Michigan flags within the State Capitol Complex and upon all public buildings and grounds across the state of Michigan to be immediately lowered to half-staff from now until midnight on Thursday, August 4 to honor and remember U.S. Representative Jackie Walorski who was killed in a car crash along with two members of her staff earlier Wednesday.
