Eligibility For COVID-19 Vaccine Expands In Macomb County

Mt. Clemens, MI - Macomb County has announced that it will begin accepting new appointments for the COVID-19 vaccination.

Categorized by the CDC as part of Priority Group 1B, Macomb County residents may begin making an appointment to be vaccinated who are:

  • Age 65 and older
  • Frontline essential workers who live or work in Macomb County including police officers, first responders, frontline state and federal workers, jail and prison staff
  • PreK-12 school personnel
  • Childcare providers

Eligible individuals can begin scheduling an appointment tomorrow, January 8, 2021 by calling 586-463-8777.

Available appointment slots are based on the number of vaccines allocated by the State of Michigan. Once all available appointments based on current inventory are filled, the reservation line will be closed. Additional appointments will be added based on the vaccine supply received from the State of Michigan. 

Vaccination appointments are available Monday through Friday between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. and on Saturdays between 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. Vaccines will be administered by appointment only at the Verkuilen Building located at 21885 Dunham Road in Clinton Township, Michigan. Upon arrival, individuals will be asked to provide a photo identification and/or proof of their occupation as well as a completed Vaccine Administration Record form which can be found on the website.
