Clinton Twp., MI - To help address the critical staffing shortages facing service providers, Macomb County Community Health (MCCMH) has developed a recruitment and retention plan with financial incentives.
Effective June 1, 2022:
- All new hires are eligible for a $1,000 incentive payment after completing 30 days of employment.
- Staff hired between January 1, 2022 and May 30, 2022 are eligible for a $1,000 incentive payment after six months employment.
- Staff hired prior to January 1, 2022, are eligible for a $2,000 incentive payment on their hire date anniversary.
- Staff who refer a new hire are eligible for a $500 referral payment after the new hire completes their first ninety days.
These bonuses are available to all current (both full and part-time) staff employed by a contracted MCCMH service provider on January 1, 2022, and will be offered through December 31, 2022. These incentive payments do not apply to MCCMH staff or for MCCMH positions.
"MCCMH is committed to supporting our providers, and this incentive payment program will help them attract and retain qualified staff to address the growing need for mental health services," MCCMH CEO Dave Pankotai said.
