Septic And Well Use And Maintenance Workshop In Macomb County

Clinton Twp., MI - A faulty well or septic system can threaten a family’s health as well as harm pets and wildlife, contaminate groundwater and lower property values.  Protecting and maintaining a household water system is as simple as following a few guidelines.

In an effort to assist residents and homeowners, Macomb County MSU Extension (MSUE), in partnership with the Macomb County Health Department, is holding a free Septic and Well Use and Maintenance Workshop in Lenox Township on Wednesday, February 19, 2020 at the Lenox Township Municipal Offices, 63775 Gratiot, Lenox Township. Check-in begins at 6 p.m. with the program beginning promptly at 6:15 p.m.  The workshop will cover how a septic system functions, septic system maintenance, how to detect septic system failure and water conservation.  Basic well construction and maintenance will also be included.  Handouts will be available including the HAS Septic System Assessment Chapter.
