Print

Clinton Twp., MI - Macomb County MSU Extension (MSUE), in partnership with the Macomb County Health Department, will host a free septic system and well use maintenance workshop on Tuesday, April 23.

The workshop will help residents protect the health of their family and the quality of surface and groundwater, as a faulty well or septic system can threaten a family’s health as well as harm pets and wildlife, contaminate groundwater and lower property values.

The seminar will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Harrison Township Library (38225 L’Anse Creuse Rd., Harrison Twp). It will cover well construction and maintenance, water conservation, how a septic system functions, septic system maintenance and how to detect septic system failure. Handouts will be available, including the Home*A*Syst (Home Assessment System) book.
