Lane Closures On Ann Arbor Rd In Plymouth Starts Tuesday 6/21/2022

Detroit, MI - Beginning, 8 a.m., Tuesday, June 21, roadwork will begin on Ann Arbor Road between Canton Center Road and Napier Road in Plymouth Township.  Pavement conditioning along with milling and refilling the 3-mile stretch.

The first stage will widen the intersection at Ann Arbor Road and Beck Road for the addition of left turn lanes and new signals. During this work, there will be only one lane open in all four directions.

The $2.7 million project includes ramp upgrades to include American Disabilities Act at each side street intersections along Ann Arbor Road, along with guardrail work, new signs and pavement markings. The work is scheduled to be completed before Fall.

Based on economic modeling, the $2.7 million investment is expected to directly and indirectly support 34 jobs.
