Lodge Freeway Ramp To I-94 In Detroit To Close Next Week

Detroit, MI - Weather permitting, structural work will require closing the northbound M-10 (Lodge Freeway) ramp to eastbound I-94 in Detroit at noon on Monday, Oct. 24.

The ramp closure is needed for the safety of crews and motoring public while work continues on the new Second Avenue bridge over I-94.

During the closure, ramp traffic will be directed to northbound I-75 to access eastbound I-94. The ramp is expected to reopen by noon on Friday, Oct. 28.

The new Second Avenue structure is the first network tied arch bridge built in the state of Michigan. Network refers to the cables that are crossed from the top of the arch to the bottom of the driving surface on both sides of the structure.
