Detroit, MI - Contract crews replacing the Second Avenue bridge above I-94 in Detroit will close the westbound I-94 ramp to northbound M-10 (Lodge Freeway) on Saturday, June 18. Ramp traffic will be detoured using southbound I-75 to northbound M-10.
Work is expected to start at 6 a.m., Saturday, June 18, 2022 and end around 5 p.m. Friday, June 24, 2022.
Based on economic modeling, this investment is expected to directly and indirectly support more than 347 jobs.
The ramp closure provides a staging area for crews as preparations begin to eventually move the new Second Avenue bridge over I-94.
