License Of Detroit Auto Repair Facility Suspended

Detroit, MI - The Department of State has suspended the license of a Detroit auto repair facility for failing to provide records for inspection as required by law.

American Collision & Automotive Inc, 12820 Grand River Ave., owned by Steve Khaled-Daovd Dabish, was served with a summary suspension March 2 after attempts made on July 10, 2019 and Feb. 5, 2020 to inspect the facility’s records were unsuccessful. Although employees were present during the attempts, they didn’t have access to the records.

The suspension remains in effect until Dabish meets with the department and provides the requested records for inspection. Dabish also may request an administrative hearing to contest the suspension and may regain his license if he can show he’s complied with the law. Additional administrative actions also are possible.
