MI Redistricting Commission To Begin Mapping Sessions

Michigan Government NewsLansing, MI - The Michigan Independent Redistricting Commission (MICRC) will begin court-ordered mapping sessions for seven Michigan House districts at a virtual meeting Jan. 16 at 9 a.m.

The meeting and all future mapping sessions will be livestreamed on the MICRC YouTube channel.

Individuals can submit written public comment or sign up for live public comment using the form at this link: https://forms.office.com/g/JymDHUgHd9. The Commission will also continue to accept email, mail and/or paper submissions and comments from the public. All written public comment submitted to the Commission will be posted on the MICRC website at Michigan.gov/MICRC.

MICRC mapping meetings during the week of Jan. 22 will be in person at Cadillac Place in Detroit and at additional Detroit locations to be determined. Meetings the week of Jan. 29 will be virtual.
