Chesterfield Twp., MI - Beginning Wednesday, Nov. 1, through Friday, Nov. 3, westbound I-94 will have only one lane open from County Line Road to M-29 (23 Mile Road) in Macomb County between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. to finish the pavement overlay. There will also be intermittent ramp closures at M-29 (23 Mile Road).
This weekend, I-94 will have only one lane open in each direction between M-29 (23 Mile Road) to County Line Road from 5 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 4, through 9 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 5, to complete shoulder work and pavement markings.
The majority of the road work is expected to be completed by mid-November, with punch list work and signal work continuing through early December.
This work is part of a $32.5 million I-94 project from M-29 (23 Mile Road) to County Line Road, which has included bridge work at six locations, traffic signal upgrades and partial ramp rebuilding at the I-94/M-19 and I-94/M-29 interchanges.
