Bruce Township, MI - Weather permitting, Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) contract crews will be starting warranty work on M-53 (Van Dyke Road) in Bruce Township at 8 p.m. Friday, Aug. 25, through the weekend, closing M-53 (Van Dyke Road) in each direction between 37 Mile and Boardman roads.
The freeway is expected to reopen by 6 a.m. Monday, Aug. 28.
Access will be maintained for local traffic between Boardman and 37 Mile roads while through-traffic is encouraged to seek alternate routes.
