Two Virtual Info Sessions To Be Hosted By Macomb/St Clair MI Works

Clinton Twp., MI - Macomb/St. Clair Michigan Works! has announced that they will be celebrating the U.S. Department of Labor’s sixth annual National Apprenticeship Week (NAW) with two virtual events.

NAW was established by the U.S. Department of Labor to celebrate the impact apprenticeships have in helping Americans learn skills for jobs in growing industries. Hundreds of NAW events and activities will be taking place all over the country and include open houses, skill competitions, community forums, apprentice graduations, business open houses, high school and college career fairs, apprenticeship signing days, industry roundtable events and more.

“Registered Apprenticeship is a tried-and-true approach for preparing workers for jobs – and meeting the business needs for a highly-skilled workforce that continues to innovate and adapt to meet the needs of the 21st century,” said Talent Specialist and Apprenticeship Success Coordinator Jennifer Taylor.

A webinar for employers in Macomb & St. Clair Counties will be held on Tuesday, November 17, 2020 at 9 a.m. Employers can register here: M/SC Employer RA 101 Information Session 11/17 9am.
