Catholic Vantage Financial To Host Free Shred Event In Livonia

Livonia, MI - Catholic Vantage Financial (CVF) is hosting a free document shredding event for the community on Saturday, September 26, 2020.

The public is invited to bring personal papers and documents for shredding from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the credit union’s Livonia branch located at 36111 Five Mile Road, just east of Levan Road.

“We are committed to this annual event to help members and people in our community guard against identity theft,” said Emma Teller, vice president of operations for Catholic Vantage Financial. “In following CDC guidelines during this COVID-19 pandemic, and to help keep our staff and attendees safe, masks and social distancing will be required.”

Iron Mountain is the provider of the shredding services, and credit union staff will be on hand to greet visitors.

Donations are welcomed and will be used to assist needy families in the community.

The public is also invited to visit the credit union’s Financial Wellness Center, located on CVF’s website, www.mycvf.org to view short interactive learning modules, in Spanish and English. One of the topics includes a module on Identity Protection.
