Chesterfield Twp., MI - Michigan Department of Transportation contract crews will be closing the eastbound M-29 (23 Mile Road) entrance ramp to eastbound I-94 in Macomb County from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, June 17, to relocate fiber optic cables on I-94.
Drivers are advised to take eastbound M-29 to northbound County Line Road, then westbound 26 Mile Road to the next I-94 entrance ramp.

This work is part of a $32.5 million project on I-94 from M-29 (23 Mile Road) to County Line Road that includes 6.1 miles of asphalt milling and resurfacing, bridge work at six locations, traffic signal upgrades, and partial ramp rebuilding at the I-94/M-19 and I-94/M-29 interchanges. Work will be completed by late fall.
