    • Detour: Northbound M-39 traffic will continue to westbound M-153 (Ford Road) and then take southbound M-39 to eastbound US-12.

Two lanes remain open in each direction on US-12 (Michigan Avenue) between Oakwood Boulevard (Elm Street) and Greenfield Road.

The westbound US-12 (Michigan Avenue) service drive, west of Greenfield Road, will have one lane open through early fall.

MDOT is investing $17.9 million to mill and resurface US-12 (Michigan Avenue) between Oakwood Boulevard and Greenfield Road over a two-year period. The work includes curb/gutter, guardrail, and drainage improvements, along with traffic signal modernization, sidewalk upgrades, and sign upgrades.

Based on economic modeling, this investment is expected to directly and indirectly support 227 jobs.
