Detroit, MI - Wayne County Public Services has been closing Hines Drive recently for Lightfest set-up.
Wayne County Lightfest, a four-mile stretch of Hines Park displaying nearly 50 animated holiday themed displays, will be open Wednesday - Sunday from Thursday, November 17, 2022 until Saturday, December 24, 2022 from 6:00 PM - 10:00 PM. The Lightfest is closed Monday and Tuesday evenings.
Please be aware that during upcoming weather-permitting days you can expect delays and closures from Ann Arbor Trail to Outer Drive, typically between the hours of 9:00 AM - 2:30 PM for Lightfest set-up.
