Lansing, MI - Weather permitting, segment 3 of the I-75 modernization project will enter a new stage starting this weekend.
Fast facts:
- The I-75 modernization enters a new stage this weekend with two-way traffic sharing the southbound lanes between 8 Mile Road and I-696.
- The northbound I-75 ramp to eastbound I-696 will close until early November.
- Two lanes of I-75 traffic will remain open in each direction during peak travel times.
Beginning at 7 a.m. Saturday, April 4, northbound I-75 will be reduced to one lane to allow crews to shift all traffic to the southbound lanes between 8 Mile Road and I-696.
